The Empire of Seishin no Ryuu is a technologically advanced, island empire encompassing a mainland and several islands in New Earth.
It was founded around 1000 years ago, and has been ruled by only one Imperial Family, the Namikazes.

- The Empire includes several islands, and the mainland. The climate is hotter in the southern areas than in the north. Average temperature in the Capital is 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer, and around 50-65 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter.

Seishinian High Command
Comprised of the heads of the various departments, the SHC is the highest level of military organization in the Empire.

Seishinian High Command maintains control of the Seishinian Nuclear Ordinance. It is comprised of roughly 20 missiles of 40MT, and 10 missiles with a payload of 60MT
Seishinian Ground Forces
The SGF is the main ground force of the Seishinian Empire. Trying to stay on the edge of modern technology, they are constantly trying to update their equipment. The SGF is both a volunteer force and a conscription force. With a yearly quota on the amount of recruits, if they haven't reached the said quota, the remainder will be conscripted out of high school.

SGF Intelligence
SGF-I is the primary logistical department of the SGF. Despite the name, SGF-I serves less in intelligence and more in the part of the military without glorification.

SGF Shinobi
The SGF-S are the special forces of the SGF. Serving in the SGF-S is one of the highest honors of the Seishinian Ground Forces. The units of the SGF-S are deployed in hostage situations, kidnappings, and all manner of covert ops. Though officially part of the SGF, a good deal of the individuals come from the SK, IIB, and SIC.

SN protects the interests of the Empire in the oceans and coastlines around the world. SN is a large part of the SAF, as most Imperial territory is comprised of islands. The SN employs the same strategy as the SA when it comes to recruitment.

SAF is the organization that defends Seishin in the skies and beyond.

The SAFCD is the cyber-warfare branch of the SAF. It works primarily out of the capital Seishintetsu, and defends the secrets of the other agencies and is actively searching for improvements to signal jamming and communications technologies.

The HAWC is the SAF's version of the SA-S.

Seishinian Keihokyoku
The SK is the only policing force in Seishin no Ryuu, and those in policing services are commonly seen standing on street corners. The SK is primarily concerned with internal affairs and border control. SK stations can be found in all overland legal border crossing areas.

Imperial Investigation Bureau
The IIB serves as the competition for the SIC. Both receive equal funds and are tasked with the same job, collecting intelligence. The high degree of competition between the IIB and the SIC serves to enhance the capabilities of both agencies.

The most elite soldiers in the Seishinian miitary, many are taken from the SGF-S and HAWC. Only the most loyal soldiers can attain a spot in these units.

Defensive Information

The Provinces of Seishin no Ryuu
The Empire of Seishin no Ryuu is divided into 6 Provinces. Each Province is governed by it's Governor, called a Kame, who answers directly to the Emperor. Listed are the 6 Provinces, their major cities, and the Kame that governs each province.
The Empire, for 1000 years, has been under the rule of only one Imperial Family, the Namikazes. There have been many rulers, and their rule differed dramatically. From Iron Fisted Dictator, to loving Pacifist, the entire spectrum has been covered by their dynasty.

[edit] The History of Seishin no Ryuu
1650-1700
The Emperor Namikaze Hideyoshi's subordinate, Yamanaka Koba, after being overlooked when the Emperor picked his Advisor, and after years of being ignored, found a following among the peasants. They had enough of what they called "a corrupt, evil government," and decided to mount a coup. What followed is now known as the Seishinian Civil War, thousands died, on both sides, as the war carried on into the next century.
1700-1805
With Emperor Hideyoshi's death, in 1725 came a whole lot of problems for his son, now Emperor Namikaze Oda. The enemy forces were now led by Koba's son, Yamanaka Yoshi, who was even more devious than his father, but Hideyoshi was even more devious. in the fall of 1738, he led a force against Yoshi's entire army. He "retreated" down between two cliffs, where thousands of his troops waited above to drop boulders on the unsuspecting forces. The plan was sucessful, and the war finally ended. Oda went on to bring about a revitalization to the land of Seishin.
1805-1905
This time was a time of peace, after Emperor Namikaze Oda died, his son, the new Emperor Namikaze Hiro, continued to rule in the peace attained by his father and grand father. He established the 12 Provinces of Seishin no Ryuu and the Kame governing system.
1905-2009
After the death of Emperor Hiro passed on in 1945, his son, Emperor Namikaze Ashikaga took the throne. He was an extremely strict ruler. During his reign the size of the Seishinian Keihokyoku and the Military doubled in size. He started the policy of massive government support of technology. He passed away in 2005 leaving his son, the current Emperor Namikaze Akira, who is the first openly homosexual Emperor.

There is the older, more traditional generation, and the younger "hip" crowds. Seishinian Pop culture is very diverse, including game shows, traditional cuisine, manga, anime, S-pop, S-rock, Visual Kei, karaoke, bowling, Arcades, Shogi, and Go.
