The Born Cool Playahs of Taeshan is an expansive nation of over 4 billion citizens and over a 100 islands. It is located in the Q Continuum. It is one of the, if not the, coldest nation on earth. Temperatures range from the -20s in winter to the high 30s and low 40s in the summer. The country is home to many major ethnic groups from around the world.

The Islands of Taeshan were discovered by De Fantes Myer, a man of Portugeese descent who left his homeland in search of a new to call his own. Along with 4.8 Million of his follower he his wife May, and his four sons Decland, Marion, Jack and Reginold, left to find what would one day become their own nation. They first discovered the Island of Bayern and founded the first city of Docktown. Then they would discover the central island of Taeshan Island and set up the first Capital of Taeshan City.
Then his four sons would leave in search of their own lands to claim for the nation. The eldest son Decland went north and claimed what became X Island and Cape Island, and founded the first northern cities of Capetown, X Island and Dibert. His second oldest son Marion would head west and claim the lands of China Island and the Northwesternmost island of Lake Island. He founded what is now known as the cities of Ojian, Lakeotwn, Ying Jing, and before he died the city of Chinchinhua.
His two youngest sons went east. Jack would land on the island of Wolf. He founded the modern city of Wiechester and the ancient cities of Longview and White Catsle, both of which would waste away and now are known as Woilfville and Wolfin. Reginold the most remebered of the four sons would land on the island of modern Atlantea and would found the third city of Taeshan Atlantea. He also founded Mt. Ceabring and Yaton. One day Atlantea would become the greatest city in Taeshan. That day would come soon.
De Fanytes Myer died only 10 years after his own country was founded. By then 3 of his sons had died of the Influenza outbreak of '69. Reginold was the only son left and he inherited the country from his father. With the city of Taeshan City falling apart he decided to move the capital to Atlantea and remake the city in its rebirth as the biggest place in Taeshan. Eventually his fathers dream would be realized as nowadays our great nation is a power.
Reginold though died shortly after his great deeds, and the Nation became an an archy for many years before finally David Zellefrow formed up the government to what it has become today. Now the nation is thriving, and behind its powerful government is emerging as a world power.From humble beginings it has thrived and now it is great.
[edit] The Government of Taeshan
- The Taeshani government is headed by the President. The President is voted on by the people every 2 years. The loser of the presidential vote becomes the vice president.
- The president has a Cabinet to help make his decisions. The Cabinet can contain between 20 and 40 members depending on how the president sets up the offices, and what offices he wants.
- The government has three houses. The High Council, the Senate, and the House of Represenatatives.

- The high council is the only unelected council in the Islands. It is made up of 80 members all of which are descended from former member of the council, it approves all laws sent to the president of the after the Senate and the House vote on it. They can be overruled by a 4/7ths vote by the two lower council.

- The Senate is made up of 30 members. Two each elected from the 8 main isles, and the 3 Protectorates of Taeshan and 1 from the 7 lesser isles. The 29th member is the overall next highest vote getter from all of the lands.
[edit] The House of Representatives
- The house is made up of 300 members. Every time a new president is elected a census is taken and the 15 main and lesser islands of the country each get a percentage of the whole delegates based on the number of people in its population. If their is a divided seat it automatically goes to the island with the lesser members already in.

- In it short history Taeshan has been involved in two wars. The first the Grestonian war on home soil and the second the Q Continuum War of 1943.
- Taeshan is notable for gladly being allies with any nation and openly asking for the Grestonian War to occur.
- Taeshan's biggest ally is known to be Solenial. They have been allies since shortly after they both claimed independence.
- When Kazzy Tre' Williams took over the office of President he temporarily closed the borders in order to help the country convert to Communism. This ban was lifted by the fifth president just days after he took back the office from the Communist Party.

- Capital Street is a street right in the center of Atlantea going the whole way through the city. On the left side coming in from the east is home to many famous Taeshani Buildings including the Governors house at 2 Capital St., Atlantea Colliseum at 4 Capital St, the Taeshani Foreign Embassy home at 6 Capital St., and the Taeshani Senate and House Buildng at the other end of the city at 30 Capital St. At 14 Capital St. is the Zellefrow Monument respecting the first president and his family, and at 16 Capital St. is the De Fantes Myer Memorial Park which covers the 14 miles of city land between the Zellefrow monument and the Senate Building.
- On the right side of the street are the Taeshani Foreign Embassies.

- The Island of Taeshan have a vast number of political parties, so far not a single president has had the same party as another. Their are many different parties in Taeshan each getting votes every election. Many Parties have varying degrees of support over the years.

- Atlantea Island is the biggest island in Taeshan, and has the most people of all the islands.
- Atlantea's capital city is Atlantea, the capital of Taeshan and it is the biggest city in Taeshan.
- The Main cities of Taeshan located on Atlantea Island are Atlantea, Yaton, Reynea, Cracken, and Greenville a smaller city on the outskirts of Atlantea.

- X Island gets its name from the weird shape of the land, a roundish X.
- X Island is the smallest of the 8 main Islands.
- X Island's capital city is X Island City.
- The main cities of X Island are X Island City, Blacklake, Loachen, and Diebert.

- Cape Island gets its name from having the northern most point in Taeshan, and from being home of the two Capetowns.
- Capetown is the capital of Cape Island.

- Lake Island gets its name from being home of the great orange colored lake Lake Minor. No one knows what the color comes from, but there seems to be a strange rock some credit it to only found on Lake Island.

- The main cities of Lake Island are Laketown, Los Riosa, Norton, and Chinchinhua.

- China Island was named by its settlers due to there ancestry being mostly oriental.
- Ojian is the capital of China Island.
- The main cities of China Island are Ojian, Machrobat, Mierton, and Ying Jing.

- Taeshan Island was the first island of the 8 main islands found.
- It is named after the former capital city Taeshan City which is on Taeshan Island.

Taeshan is a very divers nation. The 4.8 Billion people who originally populated the Islands and formed the Nation of Today were ethnically diverse. Most were either of Caucasian or African heritage. Over the years though many other Ethnicity's have come to Taeshan, and the Nation as a whole is better for it. About 45% of the nation is Caucasian, about 35% is of African Heritage, 19% are of Asian Decent, and about 2 percent have arrived from the land of the elves. Of course there are many other types of ethnicity's found in Taeshan including Hispanics, Aboriginal, and others, but they do not take a huge percentage as others do.

English, and German which every kid needs to know before entering 7th grade and middle school. Other langauges' spoken on the islands include Danish, Spanish, Gaelic, Chinese, Japanese, and Tagalog. Taeshan is a mostly Atheist country as religion is banned in governmental affairs, though there are a high percentage of Taeshanese that practice, Catholicism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam. Evangelicals also have a pretty high percentage of followers, as does Judaism. In Taeshan religion even though it is banned for most Governmental Procedures, and in daily life is not very prolific, for many people Religion is still a way of life and many people are people of some sort of faith.
